Description

The forest fell silent long before the tree did — now it stands alone, leafless and reaching, a monument to something that once grew here and no longer does.

  • ✔ Resin terrain piece, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted — primes and paints easily
  • ✔ Compatible with standard 28mm–32mm miniature scales
  • ✔ Works on the gaming table and as part of a display diorama

This bare, skeletal tree terrain piece brings an immediate sense of desolation to any tabletop scene. With deeply textured bark, splaying surface roots, and upswept bare branches that claw at the air, it reads instantly as a place where something has gone wrong — whether that's a necromancer's blight, the edge of a cursed wood, or simply the dead of winter in a foreboding wilderness. It's the kind of terrain detail that makes players slow down and look twice at the map.

Details

Sculpted by Mia Kay M3DM, this piece is rendered as a digital render in its promotional image, shown in an unprimed cream-tan finish that highlights every groove and knot in the bark. It paints up beautifully whether you're going for a stark winter grey, a blighted black, or a sun-bleached pale wood — and works equally well as a gaming piece or a display terrain element.

Perfect for adventurers who:

  • Want to set a scene in a cursed forest, haunted wilderness, or necromancer's domain
  • Need line-of-sight blocking scatter terrain for outdoor battle maps
  • Are building dioramas or display boards with an autumnal or winter aesthetic
  • Enjoy painting terrain pieces with bark textures and natural weathering

Encounter Hook:
The village elder warned the party not to enter the Greywood after dusk — but the missing child's footprints lead directly into the treeline. As the adventurers push through the undergrowth, the trees thin and the canopy disappears entirely, replaced by row upon row of dead, leafless trunks. Not a bird. Not a sound. And then, between two bare and reaching trees, something moves.

Scaled to 32mm. The model with an integrated base comes as a single piece. The version with a plain base ships with the base detached, ready to be fixed with a small amount of glue. Supplied unprimed and unpainted, ready for your brushwork. Supports are removed before dispatch, though minor marks from the printing process can occasionally occur and are easily cleaned up.
