Description

The ground shook before they saw it — a mountain of scarred stone-grey flesh and cracked hide, club in hand, teeth bared, and utterly without mercy.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

This Stone Troll is a brute made manifest — a large-sized creature sculpted with extraordinary surface detail that captures every crack, callus, and fold of its rocky hide. The hunched, forward-lurching pose radiates aggression, with one massive fist gripping a heavy wooden club and the other hand hanging low with clawed fingers splayed. The face is the highlight of the sculpt: a wide, open-mouthed roar with oversized tusks, deep-set eyes, and a crown of jagged stone protrusions erupting from the skull — part crown, part natural weapon.

The armour elements are minimal but deliberate — a broad leather belt with a chunky iron buckle and scraps of hide wrapping at the wrists, suggesting a creature that has graduated beyond caring much for protection. What it lacks in finesse it more than makes up for in sheer physical presence. The textured skin across the body is exceptional, with visible scale-like patterning on the lower legs and arms that rewards careful drybrushing or washes during painting.

Labelled as a large-sized miniature by Epic Miniatures (as shown in the render alongside a d20 for scale), this troll will tower over your standard 32mm heroes on the tabletop — a proper centre-of-combat threat piece.

Well suited for adventurers who:

  • Need a powerful, large-sized melee monster for wilderness or dungeon encounters
  • Run campaigns in mountain ranges, deep forests, or underground caverns
  • Want a characterful troll that stands apart from generic fantasy designs
  • Enjoy painting heavily textured, large-scale creature miniatures
  • Are building encounter groups that include cave-dwelling or tribal giant-kin

Encounter Hook: The mountain pass seemed clear until the party's ranger noticed the bones — gnawed clean and scattered across a hundred-foot stretch of trail. Something large had been feeding here for weeks. Then, from behind a boulder taller than two men stacked together, came the sound of something breathing.
