This is pose 01 of our Stone Hag range by Novaminis. Hunched and predatory, this hag lumbers forward with unmistakable menace — her tattered, cross-stitched robes hanging in ragged strips, a heavy iron chain coiled about her clawed hand, and her hooded face twisted into a leering, hollow-eyed leer. Her bound feet shuffle in wrapped, claw-toed sandals, and every surface of the sculpt whispers of ancient malice barely contained beneath decaying cloth. This is a creature that has endured centuries and carries the weight of them.

In D&D 5e, stone hags occupy a unique niche — neither the swamp-dwelling night hag nor the woodland green hag, but something older, heavier, and more implacable. She suits a lair carved from a collapsed cairn, a high mountain pass where travellers go missing, or the crumbling heart of a fey-cursed ruin. Her chains suggest bargains made and debts still owed. Whether she anchors a hag coven, serves as a solitary boss villain, or appears as a manipulative NPC who speaks in half-truths, this sculpt carries the visual authority to make adventurers genuinely uneasy.

Perfect for adventurers who:

  • Need a hag villain with real physical presence at the table
  • Are running a coven encounter, a dark fey bargain arc, or a horror-tinged campaign
  • Want a centrepiece monster that doubles as a compelling display piece
  • Are building out a Feywild or Ravenloft-adjacent encounter roster
  • Collect finely detailed creature minis for painting and display

Encounter Hook:
The party tracks the missing children to a collapsed barrow on the moorland's edge. Inside, seven small bundles hang from the ceiling by iron chains — and the stone hag sits cross-legged at the centre, utterly still, her chains arranged around her like a web. She speaks first: "You are late. I expected you three days ago. Sit. We have much to discuss."
