Stirges are one of the most deceptively dangerous threats a Dungeon Master can throw at low-level parties: individually weak, collectively terrifying. This listing — Pose 04 in our Stirge range from Yasashii Kyojin Studios — gives you five distinct sculpts captured mid-flight, each with a different wing angle, body orientation, and claw position. Some bank sharply, talons outstretched; others glide flat, beaks levelled for a strike. The variation across the five sculpts makes them feel like a genuine, chaotic swarm rather than a repetitive row of identical tokens.
Whether you're flooding a cave encounter with a dozen of the creatures or using a single well-placed stirge as an ambient environmental threat, these sculpts carry real menace on the table. They work equally well as painted display pieces — the organic surface detail on the wing membranes and the lean, predatory musculature reward careful brushwork with highlights and glazes.

Encounter Hook:
The party is halfway across the rope bridge when the colony erupts from the chasm below — six stirges per character, ascending fast. The ranger shouts a warning but the first one is already latched onto the cleric's neck, and the bridge is swaying too hard to stand still long enough to aim.
Scaled to 32mm. Available with or without a plain black base — the base is supplied unattached and can be fixed with a small amount of glue. As stirges are small, flying minis, you may want to consider pinning them to bent wire or a flight stand to achieve a convincing airborne effect. Five sculpts are included in this listing, each in a different flying pose.
