The stirge is one of the most underestimated horrors in the Dungeon Master's toolkit. Small enough to be dismissed, fast enough to close the gap before anyone readies a shield, and hungry in a way that feels deeply, wrongly personal. This sculpt by Yasashii Kyojin Studio captures the creature mid-hover — wings spread wide to either side, six articulated legs splayed and grasping, and that reptilian beak-face fixed forward with cold, simple intent. The musculature across the abdomen and thorax is well-defined, giving the creature genuine weight despite its size, and the membrane detail in the wings reads clearly even at 17mm tall.
Whether you're running a swarm encounter in a dank cave system, stocking a ruined tower with opportunistic vermin, or simply building out your monster collection with some of the game's more underappreciated threats, this mini delivers a presence far beyond its modest footprint on the battlemat.

Encounter Hook:
The party wades into the flooded lower level of the dungeon, torchlight skimming the black water — then the ranger notices the ceiling is moving. Dozens of stirges drop from the vaulted dark in a single coordinated rush, and the rogue with the highest AC suddenly realises that doesn't help much when the enemy is aiming for your neck.
Printed at 17mm tall (32mm scale). Available with or without a plain black base — the base ships unattached and can be fixed with a small amount of glue. Because the stirge is a small flying creature, you may wish to use a short length of wire or a flying stem to give it an airborne display effect on the base. Supplied unpainted and ready for priming.
