Description

Built to serve a master long since turned to ash, the iron warhorse still patrols its post — gears turning, eyes forward, waiting for orders that will never come.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

Mia Kay's Steampunk Workhorse is a masterwork of arcane engineering rendered in miniature. Every inch of this construct is dense with mechanical detail: riveted banding across the neck and flanks, articulated gear joints at each leg, a chainlink collar assembly, and a saddle platform bristling with canisters and trumpet-mouthed exhaust vents. The pose — one foreleg raised mid-stride over a cobbled base — gives the piece real momentum, as though the machine has just received its marching order after centuries of waiting. Whether you're running an artificer-heavy campaign, a steampunk-adjacent setting, or simply want a construct that looks genuinely unlike anything else on the table, this horse delivers.

The sculpt sits confidently within the construct tradition of D&D and Pathfinder — think clockwork steed, mechanical mount, or iron defender scaled up — but the level of surface detail elevates it well beyond a simple encounter piece. Display painters will find a wealth of panel lines, rivets, and mechanical recesses to work with; gaming-table players will find a centrepiece that draws every eye in the room.

Brilliant for adventurers who:

  • Run artificer, inventor, or steampunk-themed campaigns
  • Need a construct mount or automated guardian encounter piece
  • Want an eye-catching centrepiece for a display shelf or diorama
  • Are painting collectors who love intricate mechanical surface detail
  • Play Pathfinder, D&D 5e, or any TTRPG with construct creatures

Encounter Hook:
The party enters the ruins of the Ironhaven garrison to find the treasury sealed — and a fully operational mechanical warhorse still patrolling the courtyard in a slow, endless circuit. Its original command phrase died with its creator two hundred years ago. Someone is going to have to get creative.
