Description
In the smog-choked backstreets of a mechanised city, where discarded cogs and burst pipes litter every alley, the Scavenger moves — weighed down by gathered curiosities, guided by nothing but instinct and opportunity.
- ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
This miniature captures a wonderfully eccentric wanderer of the industrial age — a figure entirely defined by what they've collected, repurposed, and strapped to their back. The Scavenger trudges forward with a walking staff, hunched slightly under the weight of an enormous overloaded rig: pressure gauges, dangling gears, coiled rope, a wide riveted hat-shade overhead, and a curved pipe arching above it all like a mechanical antenna. Every element of the sculpt rewards a painter's attention — there are textures and layers here that will respond beautifully to washes, drybrushing, and careful spot-colour work.
The decorative base continues the theme with sculpted gear-work and mechanical detritus underfoot, grounding the character firmly in the industrial aesthetic. This is a character who looks like they've survived the collapse of something enormous by being smart enough to salvage the pieces.
Whether you're running a steampunk campaign, a Spelljammer port city, or a post-collapse urban setting with a mechanical twist, the Scavenger slots in as a compelling merchant contact, a quirky quest-giver, or a resourceful survivor PC with a story told entirely through their equipment.
- Characterful wanderer NPC for steampunk, urban, or industrial campaign settings
- Outstanding painting project — layers of mechanical detail reward patient brushwork
- Doubles as a playable character for Artificer, Rogue, or unorthodox Ranger builds
- Gear-covered silhouette makes for an eye-catching display piece on any shelf
- Sculpted base with gear motifs included — adds immediate atmosphere to any table
Encounter Hook: The party spots a cloaked figure rifling through the smoking ruins of a destroyed Artificers' Guild outpost on the edge of town. As they approach, the Scavenger whips around, staff raised — but rather than threatening them, she grins and holds up a cracked arcane regulator. "Looking for this, were you? Costs you one favour. Non-negotiable."
