Description

Word in the Cogworks District is that the cleverest fence in the city isn't a person at all — it's a squirrel in a top hat who knows exactly what your pocket watch is worth and has already decided he'll be keeping it.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

This wonderfully characterful sculpt from Mia Kay M3DM brings a fully anthropomorphic squirrel to your tabletop — but not just any squirrel. Dressed in a tall top hat adorned with brass steampunk goggles and clutching an ornate pocket watch on a heavy chain, this little tinkerer radiates the self-satisfied energy of someone who has just made a very one-sided deal in their own favour. The sculpt captures a seated, upright pose with the squirrel's paws wrapped around the watch face, head tilted with a knowing expression that suggests he's already three steps ahead of everyone at the table.

The scenic decorative base is a piece of work in its own right: a small open treasure chest spilling coins, a pair of oversized steampunk cog elements, and fragments of stonework that ground the character in a world of gears and gilded ambition. The fluffy tail curls dramatically upward and behind, lending the figure a vertical presence that punches well above its scale. Every detail — from the links of the watch chain to the texture of the fur — rewards careful painting with washes and drybrushing.

Available with a decorative scenic base, a plain base, or no base at all, so you can choose the option that suits your basing style or display preferences.

This miniature suits adventurers who:

  • Want a memorable NPC for steampunk-flavoured campaigns or city encounters
  • Are building out a crew of anthropomorphic beast-folk player characters
  • Love character pieces that tell a whole story before a single word of dialogue
  • Are looking for a distinctive centrepiece painting project with genuine detail depth
  • Run Spelljammer, Eberron, or any setting where the unusual becomes extraordinary

Encounter Hook

The party has been sent to recover a stolen guild charter — but the trail leads to a cramped clockwork workshop above a pawnbroker's, where a squirrel in a magnificent hat informs them he acquired the document legally, produces a pocket watch as proof of the transaction time, and offers to sell it back to them at a very reasonable markup. The charter is right there on the desk. He is sitting on it. He knows they know. He does not move.
