- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
This Sprite sculpt by Mia Kay M3DM captures a fey creature mid-stride — confident, ethereal, and carrying the quiet menace of something that belongs entirely to the Feywild and knows it. Clad in leaf-wrapped cloth and vine-bound anklets, with a crown of floral sprigs nestled in her hair, she carries no weapon but needs none. That unhurried walk and the spread of those broad, feathered wings say enough. Whether you're fielding her as a mischievous neutral, a court messenger from the Summer Queen, or the last obstacle between the party and the way home, she reads as a creature that plays by different rules to everyone else at the table.
As a display piece, the sculpt rewards careful painting — the layered feather detail on the wings, the texture of the wrapped clothing, and the naturalistic base of scattered stones and earth all offer excellent opportunities for contrast painting, skin tone blending, and freehand work. A miniature worth taking your time over.
Perfect for adventurers who:
- Are running Feywild campaigns or enchanted woodland arcs
- Need a fey NPC that reads as beautiful, strange, and not entirely trustworthy
- Want a centrepiece display piece that showcases a fantasy painter's range
- Are building out a fey court with distinct, characterful sculpts
Encounter Hook:
The party has been following the sprite for three hours through the Verdant Tangle, certain she is leading them to the stolen hearthstone — until she stops, turns slowly, and asks why they assumed she was ever going anywhere at all.
