Spiritual Weapon: Small Shield by The Toadstool Weaver

The air shimmers as divine energy coalesces into gleaming metal — a shield born not from a forge, but from faith itself, hovering on a swirl of spectral force.

• ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
• ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
• ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
• ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

Few spells on the battlefield communicate divine authority quite like Spiritual Weapon. This sculpt brings that spell to life as a physical table marker — a round, bossed shield with a riveted central boss and decorative studs, carried aloft on billowing waves of conjured energy rendered in tightly detailed, curling forms. The contrast between cold, hard metal and the soft, churning spiritual force beneath it makes this a visually distinctive piece that no other token or counter can replicate.

Whether your cleric is lobbing cantrips from the back row or your paladin is holding a doorway against a tide of undead, placing this on the table alongside your miniature immediately communicates the presence of that floating divine guardian. It reads clearly across the table, rewards close inspection, and doubles as a centrepiece painting project — pick out that shield in silver and verdigris, or lean into spectral blues and greens for a ghostly effect that will turn heads.

This is one of those clever utility sculpts that earns its space in every divine spellcaster's kit. Once you've used a dedicated spell-effect marker, returning to a coin or a sticky note feels like a step backwards.

Well suited for adventurers who:

• Play clerics, paladins, or any divine spellcaster who prepares Spiritual Weapon
• Want a tactile, painted marker that elevates combat tracking at the table
• Are building a collection of spell-effect pieces to complement their miniature roster
• Enjoy painting detailed sculpts with strong visual contrast between materials

Encounter Hook

Three rounds into a desperate defence of the temple doors, Brother Aldric's Spiritual Weapon is the only thing keeping the passage clear. The construct floats at head height, an ancient shield imbued with the Allfather's will, turning aside blades with a hum of sacred force. The cultists have learned not to step within reach of it. They haven't yet learned what to do about the cleric who summoned it.
