The melody hangs in the air, silver strings trembling with divine energy — and then the mandolin rises of its own accord, wreathed in ribbons of spectral smoke, ready to strike.

- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
The Spiritual Weapon spell is one of the most evocative in the game — a manifestation of divine will shaped by the caster's soul. For a bard-cleric, a College of Spirits bard, or any divinely touched musician, what better form could that weapon take than a floating mandolin, buoyed on coiling tendrils of ghostly force?
This sculpt by MZ4250 captures that moment of magical animation with quiet flair. The mandolin itself is crisply detailed — tuning pegs, sound hole, bridge, and strings all legible at tabletop scale — while the sinuous, smoke-like plinth beneath it sells the weightlessness of the spell. It reads clearly as a spell effect piece from across the table, which is exactly what you need mid-combat when you're narrating your bonus action with appropriate drama.
Painted in translucent blues, silvers, or the warm amber of bardic magic, this miniature will make your Spiritual Weapon feel like a genuine in-world moment rather than an afterthought. It also works beautifully as a display piece or diorama centrepiece for any bard or cleric character build.
- Bards and clerics who want their spell effects represented on the table
- Players building character-specific accessory sets for their miniatures
- Dungeon Masters stocking a prop collection for magical encounter theatre
- Painters looking for a compact, characterful piece with interesting textures
Encounter Hook: The party's bard-cleric, Tessavel the Resonant, has just been knocked prone by the hobgoblin warlord's greatsword. As she hits the flagstones, her Spiritual Weapon — a mandolin wreathed in silver smoke — continues its arc through the air entirely unbothered, striking the warlord in the jaw with a resonant thwang for 2d8 + 5 force damage. Place this miniature on the table. Watch your players grin.
