Description

Sent ahead by the archdevil as a messenger, a scout, or a warning — the spined devil lands with a crack of leathery wings and a trident levelled at anyone foolish enough to be in the way.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

This is pose 01 of our Spined Devil range by Novaminis. The sculpt captures the spined devil mid-stride — one leg raised, great veined wings spread wide, and a long-hafted trident gripped low and ready. Every inch of the creature is armoured in its own flesh: jagged spines erupt from its shoulders, arms, and torso, and its reptilian beak is open in a hiss. It is a creature that looks equally capable of hurling those spines across a battlefield or driving that trident through plate armour at close range. An excellent small encounter monster for Avernus-based campaigns or any infernal incursion storyline.

Spined devils occupy a particular niche in the diabolic hierarchy — too lowly to negotiate contracts, too dangerous to ignore. They serve as infernal foot soldiers, aerial harassers, and the disposable muscle of pit fiend warlords. On the tabletop they make for compelling skirmish threats, especially in numbers, and this sculpt has the dynamic presence to stand out even in a crowd of fiends. Whether you're running a full Nine Hells arc or a single encounter with a warlock's unwanted patron sending a reminder, this miniature earns its place on the table.

Brilliant for adventurers who:

  • Are running a Descent into Avernus or Nine Hells campaign arc
  • Need a mid-tier devil to fill out an infernal encounter beyond the usual suspects
  • Want a dynamic, wing-spread fiend miniature for a display shelf or painting project
  • Are building a warlock patron's retinue or a pit fiend's scouting party

Encounter Hook:
The party has just crossed into the Styx Docklands when three shapes drop from the smoke-choked sky — spined devils, each clutching a scroll sealed with the same sigil as the contract the rogue signed three sessions ago. The lead one points its trident directly at the warlock. "The patron sends his regards. And his invoice."

Scaled to 32mm. Available with or without a plain black base — the base is supplied unattached and can be fixed with a small amount of glue. Each miniature is hand-inspected before dispatch; as with any hand-finished piece, minor surface marks are possible and can be tidied up before priming. Supplied unpainted and ready for your brush.
