The Spinagon, or Spine Devil, occupies the lowest rung of the infernal hierarchy, but that makes it no less dangerous. These wiry, bird-skulled fiends serve as messengers, scouts, and skirmishers across the Nine Hells, hurling volleys of razor-sharp spines with cruel efficiency. In D&D 5e they're the infernal equivalent of a first wave — fast, vicious, and utterly expendable in the eyes of their archdevil masters. For Dungeon Masters, that makes them versatile: patrol guards in a hellish fortress, a warlock patron's eye-in-the-sky, or the opening shot of a truly memorable encounter.

This sculpt from Monster Atlas captures the Spinagon mid-stance — perched on a jagged rocky base, spine-ridged wings half-furled, clawed feet gripping the stone, and a wicked two-pronged staff raised in one hand. The beaked, crested head and skeletal torso give it that distinctly birdlike malevolence that sets the Spinagon apart from bulkier devil types. The model and its decorative rocky base are separate pieces, designed to be attached with superglue — note that the sculpt is designed to interact with the base, so we recommend using it as intended.
