Description

It does not chase its prey — it simply waits, crouched amongst the splinters of those who came before, until the darkness itself becomes unbearable.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

Meloth the Watcher is no ordinary giant spider. This sculpt depicts a truly unsettling hybrid: a bloated arachnid body mounted on jagged, blade-like legs, crowned with a leering goblinoid skull-face frozen in a slack-jawed grimace. A segmented scorpion-like tail arcs overhead, tipped with a swollen, pustule-covered venom sac — the kind of detail that makes players lean forward and immediately regret it. The base is littered with shattered timber and scattered bones, telling a story of ambush already completed before the party ever arrived.

This is a sculpt built for impact at the table. Whether you're running an Underdark crawl, a drow-adjacent conspiracy, or an aberration-haunted dungeon, Meloth brings the kind of presence that makes a room go quiet. The layered surface texture — every leg segment, every ridge of chitin, every fold of that ghastly face — rewards a painter who wants to go deep, and reads clearly across the table even unpainted. Equally at home as a display piece on a collector's shelf as it is terrorising a party of unsuspecting adventurers.

Perfect for adventurers who:

  • Need a show-stopping BBEG or mid-campaign boss encounter
  • Are building Underdark, drow, or aberration-themed adventures
  • Want a character-rich monster with genuine lore presence
  • Are looking for a centrepiece painting project with exceptional surface detail
  • Collect display miniatures that double as conversation pieces

Encounter Hook:
The party descends into the collapsed lower district, searching for the missing cartographer. His satchel is there — splayed open on the rubble, notes still inside. Then something shifts above the broken beams, a segmented tail uncurls from the shadows, and eight blade-tipped legs find their footing. Meloth the Watcher has been here all along. It was waiting to see how many would come.

Details

Printed at 32mm scale. The model and scenic base are supplied as separate pieces and can be attached with a small amount of super glue. The sculpted base is an integral part of the composition — Meloth's legs interact with the rubble in a way that makes the two feel designed as one. Supplied unpainted and ready for priming.
