Description
The silk-strewn passage falls silent — then eight blade-tipped legs round the corner, and the torchlight catches eight glassy eyes fixed squarely on your party.
- ✔ Multi-miniature bundle — multiple variations in one order
- ✔ 32mm scale resin, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ All pieces supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Great value for building out encounter groups or display collections
Few creatures inspire the same visceral dread at the table as a well-placed giant spider, and this sculpt by MZ4250 earns every scream. The miniature presents a broad-bodied arachnid in a low, predatory stance — eight long, segmented legs splayed wide with hooked tips that look ready to grip stone, flesh, or anything else unlucky enough to be nearby. The swollen abdomen carries fine surface texture, and the forward-facing fanged chelicerae are open and ready. There is nothing decorative about this creature. It is built entirely for the hunt.
This bundle gives you both the supported and unsupported variants of the sculpt, so you can choose whichever suits your setup. Whether you want to paint webs between those terrible legs, dry-brush cave grime across the carapace, or go full Underdark purple-and-black, the surface detail rewards careful brushwork at every scale.
Well suited to adventurers who:
- Run Underdark crawls where the darkness hides worse things than shadows
- Need a reliable, reusable spider encounter for any dungeon or wilderness arc
- Want a creature mini that holds its own on the display shelf between sessions
- Are building out a Drow matriarch's webbed lair and need a proper guardian to match
Encounter Hook: The party follows a trail of silk-wrapped livestock into a collapsed mine. Three chambers in, the ceiling moves — and what they took for stalactites drops silently onto the rear of the marching order. The spider attacks from above, using the narrow tunnel to separate the group. It has already eaten the miner they were sent to find.
