This is pose 02 of the Spider range sculpted by Mia Kay M3DM, and it brings something genuinely unsettling to the tabletop. Low to the ground, legs splayed wide, chelicerae forward — this creature is mid-stalk, caught in that horrible moment between patience and lunge. The textured abdomen and bristled leg segments are sculpted with the kind of anatomical detail that makes arachnophobes at your table visibly uncomfortable (which is, of course, exactly the point). The integrated scenic base echoes a web-stretched surface, giving it a strong sense of place straight out of the box.
Whether you're populating a drow-haunted Underdark passage, a forgotten crypt draped in webs, or a forest encounter with a giant spider nest, this sculpt carries the weight of a genuine threat. It reads clearly at table distance, paints up brilliantly with a wash-heavy approach to pick out the texture, and looks just as fine on a display shelf as it does terrifying your players.

Encounter Hook:
The party is three rooms deep into the abandoned temple when the cleric notices the ceiling — every surface above them layered in thick, dusty webbing, and something the size of a cart horse pressed flat against the stonework directly overhead, perfectly motionless until someone moves.
This miniature is scaled to 32mm and comes attached to its sculpted scenic base as a single piece. It arrives support-free and ready for priming and painting, or use it straight from the box. As with all hand-finished prints, minor surface marks are possible — these are easily tidied up before painting.
