Description

Ancient before the first empire rose, the Sphynx wanders the desert's edge — not hunting for food, but for minds worthy of its questions.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

This miniature captures a Sphynx in a prowling, purposeful stance — lion's body low and powerful, feathered mane fanned wide like armour of layered scales, and a serene yet unsettling humanoid face crowned with short curved horns. The flame-tipped tail curls behind it with an otherworldly elegance that belies the creature's raw menace. Every surface reads as a creature that straddles the natural and the divine, equally at home guarding a forgotten tomb or stalking the edge of a cursed city.

In D&D 5e, the Sphynx is a Monstrosity of immense intelligence and ancient knowledge — a creature that speaks in riddles, guards great secrets, and destroys the unworthy without hesitation or regret. On the tabletop, this sculpt makes an exceptional centrepiece for desert campaigns, ruined temples, or any encounter where the players must use their wits as much as their weapons. It works equally well as a display piece for adventurers who collect by lore as much as by aesthetics.

Perfect for adventurers who:

  • Run desert or ancient-civilisation themed D&D campaigns
  • Need a boss encounter that rewards clever roleplaying over brute force
  • Want a centrepiece miniature for a Monstrosity or creature collection
  • Enjoy painting highly detailed, texturally rich sculpts
  • Display character and creature minis on shelves alongside their favourite lore

Encounter Hook:
The merchant's trail through the Khareth Wastes has gone cold — not from bandits, but because every traveller who reached the sandstone archway was asked a question, and none gave the answer. The players arrive to find seven sets of boots arranged neatly in the sand, their owners nowhere to be seen. At the archway, a lion-bodied figure turns its head slowly and asks: "What walks in two worlds but belongs to neither?" The wrong answer is the last one they'll give.

Details

Supplied at 32mm scale. The model and its decorative base are separate pieces, designed to be attached with a small amount of glue — note that the sculpt interacts with the base in a way that looks its best when assembled together. The miniature arrives ready for priming and painting, or can be displayed as-is straight from the box.

The cats rolled Arcana to understand why humans spend so much time on tiny figures. They failed the check. They stayed anyway.
