Description

It does not walk — it drifts, bound in its own sorcery, chains of knotted force coiling where flesh once moved, one hand levelling a curse and the other trailing a blade through dead air.

  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs

The Spellbound Lich Attack is a miniature that earns its place at the head of any undead encounter. This is not a skeleton rattling swords in a corridor — this is something ancient and deliberate, its body wrapped in thick braided chains that replace legs entirely, robes inscribed with eldritch script billowing around its spectral form. Curling crescent horns rise from its skull-like head, and its expression carries the detached contempt of a creature that stopped fearing mortality centuries ago.

The pose captures a moment mid-incantation: one arm thrusting forward with a commanding, open-handed gesture, the other holding a slender blade trailing behind it with eerie calm. The chains coil and loop beneath it, forming both locomotion and armour — simultaneously grotesque and hypnotic. For painters, those braided chains offer excellent opportunity for contrast work and weathered metal techniques, while the inscribed robes reward fine-detail brushwork. Mounted on a medium scenic base, the miniature has strong visual presence from any angle on the table.

This sculpt works beautifully as a lich, a chain devil sorcerer, a cursed undead warlock, or the physical manifestation of a death god's will. Whether you're building an undead dungeon crawl or a Shadowfell campaign centrepiece, this miniature carries serious dramatic weight.

Adventurers who bring this miniature to their table tend to be:

  • Dungeon Masters staging a lich's sanctum reveal or end-of-arc boss encounter
  • Collectors drawn to undead spellcasters with distinctive, paintable silhouettes
  • Players building a chain-wielding warlock or undead sorcerer as a player character
  • Painters looking for a centrepiece model with layered textural contrast

Encounter Hook

The party enters the Vault of Unravelling expecting a treasury — instead they find a chamber where time moves strangely and a robed figure drifts above the flagstones, chains spinning lazily in the air around it. It turns to face them without surprise. "I was wondering," it says, "when the experiment would deliver fresh variables." Roll initiative.
