This is the Specter 01 from Yasashii Kyojin Studio — and it is unlike any run-of-the-mill ghost token you'll find in a boardgame box. The sculpt depicts a gaunt, semi-corporeal figure erupting upward from a coiling mass of wraithlike tendrils, its lower body dissolving entirely into writhing spectral ribbons. The torso is skeletal and emaciated, ribs pressing through translucent flesh, while the head — if it can be called that — is a skull wreathed in a crown of twisting flame-like protrusions, jaw agape in a silent, eternal shriek. Elongated claws extend from both arms, one raking outward, one raised as if drawing power from some unseen void. The composition is full of violent upward motion, as though the creature is tearing itself free of the ground — or the grave — one tendril at a time.
Whether you use it as a Specter, a Banshee, a Shadow Demon, or a wholly original haunting presence unique to your campaign world, this miniature carries genuine menace on the tabletop. The unsettling silhouette — all flame, bone, and writhing void — photographs exceptionally well for display collectors too, and rewards careful painting with washes and OSL effects on the skull-crown and claw tips.
A fine addition for adventurers who:
- Need a visually distinctive undead encounter piece for D&D 5e or other TTRPGs
- Are building haunted ruins, cursed burial sites, or planar horror scenarios
- Collect and paint dark fantasy miniatures for display
- Want a centrepiece undead villain or recurring spectral threat in their campaign
Encounter Hook:
The party's torchlight dims as they descend into the sunken chancel — and there, coiling up from the shattered altar, a spectre tears free of the stonework with a screech that extinguishes every flame at once. Its skull blazes white where its eyes should be. It knows one of the party's names. It always did.

Printed at 32mm scale. Available with or without a plain black base — the base ships unattached and can be fixed in place with a small amount of glue.
