This is the Spectre 01 from Galaad Miniatures — a wraith-like undead figure caught mid-lunge, one hand raised in a grasping claw, the other driving a shortsword forward with terrible purpose. The sculpt captures that uncanny quality spectres carry so well in D&D 5e: something that was once human, still wearing the tattered remnants of burial robes knotted at the waist with a fraying rope belt, but now hollowed out — a skull face leering beneath a deep hood, the lower robes dissolving into ragged, wind-torn shreds as if the creature is being slowly consumed by its own unlife. The dynamic pose and billowing cloth give this miniature real presence on the table, and the cracked stone base grounds it in exactly the kind of forgotten crypt or haunted ruin where a spectre belongs.
Whether you are running a haunted manor campaign, stocking a necromancer's inner sanctum with guardian undead, or building a display shelf of the finest undead sculpts you can find, this miniature delivers the atmosphere in abundance. It paints beautifully — the flowing robes take washes and drybrushing to great effect, and the skull face rewards careful detail work.
Brought to the table by adventurers who:
- Need a spectre or wraith miniature that reads instantly as a threat at the table
- Are building undead-heavy encounters in Ravenloft, a cursed crypt, or a haunted battlefield
- Want a dynamic undead sculpt worthy of a display shelf or painting project
- Are DMing a campaign where restless spirits with unfinished business play a key role
Encounter Hook:
The party's cleric has been hearing a voice in her dreams for three nights — a rasping whisper describing the location of a tomb that no map shows. When they find it, the iron door is already open from the inside, and a figure in burial robes is waiting at the threshold, shortsword levelled, empty eye sockets fixed on the party with unmistakable recognition. It knows one of them. It has been waiting.
