The Spectator is a lesser kin of the beholder — summoned, compelled, and bound to guard a treasure or location for up to 101 years. The Spectator Tyrant Ray takes that concept and cranks it to eleven. This sculpt depicts the creature mid-breach, its heavily textured, scale-plated spherical body forcing itself through a crumbling stone archway, tentacle eyestalks lashing outward and one enormous writhing appendage coiling around a dungeon column. The jaw hangs wide open, revealing rows of jagged teeth and a grotesque elongated tongue that curls down to the base. The detail on the scaly hide is extraordinary — every ridge, pore, and spine catches the light — and the dorsal spines crown the head like a war helm.

The scenic base is a masterwork of environmental storytelling in its own right: cracked flagstone tiles, two weighty stone columns, and a broken archway that frames the creature's bulk like a portrait of pure menace.
