Description

Something vast and wrong has pulled itself from the coils of the Dreaming Serpent — all fang, sinew, and primordial hunger, it crouches in the dark and exhales a roar that turns courage to ash.

  • ✔ Multi-miniature bundle — multiple variations in one order
  • ✔ 32mm scale resin, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ All pieces supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Great value for building out encounter groups or display collections

The Spawn of Yig is the kind of creature that rewrites a campaign the moment it hits the table. This sculpt captures it in a hunched, coiled crouch — massive reptilian musculature tensed beneath pale, vein-ridged skin, its serpentine head thrown wide in a thunderous roar. The exposed fangs, scaled cranial plating, and grotesquely powerful clawed hands mark it unmistakably as something born from a god of serpents rather than any natural bloodline. It is not charging — it is announcing itself, and that distinction is somehow more terrifying.

The pose reads beautifully from every angle. From the front, the gaping maw and outstretched claw dominate. From the rear, the coiled haunches and heavy musculature reinforce just how much raw mass this creature carries. Whether you paint it in albino pallor, deep jungle green, or something sickly and eldritch, the sculpt will reward the effort — there is extraordinary surface texture across the scales, the chest, and the trailing tendons of its forearms to bring out with a dry brush or wash.

Mounted on a large 51mm oval base, it sits naturally as a Large creature on the D&D grid — drop it into an encounter as a brute guardian of a yuan-ti temple, a half-divine abomination unleashed by a cult of Yig, or a boss encounter in a subterranean snake warren that the party really should have avoided.

This listing includes both the supported and unsupported print variants, so you can choose whichever works best with your setup.

Well-suited for adventurers who:

  • Run serpent cult storylines, yuan-ti arcs, or Forgotten Realms snake god lore
  • Want a Large-scale boss creature with genuine visual weight on the table
  • Enjoy detail-rich sculpts that reward careful painting
  • Collect reptilian monsters and aberrant horrors for display or gaming

Encounter Hook: The high priest of Yig has not been seen in three days. When the party finally descends into the temple's lowest sanctum, they find the altar cracked and slick with ichor — and crouched in the ruins of the shrine, a Spawn of Yig with the priest's ceremonial robes still caught in its claws, roaring at the intrusion with a sound that shakes dust from the ceiling and freezes the rogue mid-step.
