Description

It drifts through the dark on no visible means of locomotion, its cluster of unblinking eyes tracking every movement at once — and something about the way it watches suggests it understands far more than it should.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

The Spawn With Eyes is a gloriously unsettling aberration: a bloated, fleshy mass studded with multiple large, iris-detailed eyes and trailing a pair of curved, tentacle-like appendages. The sculpt by Great Grimoire captures that particular brand of alien wrongness that makes aberrations so effective at the table — there is nothing natural about this creature's anatomy, and that discomfort comes through clearly in the detail. The sunflower-like irises on each eye are especially well-realised, giving the creature a grotesque organic quality that rewards close painting.

This is pose 01 of the Spawn With Eyes range, and works brilliantly as a Gibbering Mouther proxy, a Beholder-kin, a Daelkyr servant, or simply one of those things that lives in the deep places and has been there long enough to stop needing a name. At 32mm scale it has genuine table presence without dominating a scene — unsettling, not overwhelming.

Perfect for adventurers who:

  • Need a memorable aberration encounter in the Underdark or a corrupted dungeon
  • Are building a Daelkyr, Elder Brain, or Far Realm-themed campaign
  • Want a proxy for a Gibbering Mouther or lesser Beholder variant
  • Are painting collectors drawn to weird, organic horror sculpts
  • Are Dungeon Masters who want a creature that makes their players genuinely uneasy

Encounter Hook:
The party has been hired to recover a scholar's notes from an abandoned Underdark outpost. The notes are there — scattered across the floor of the deepest chamber — but so is the thing that drove the scholars out. It hovers near the ceiling in the dark, perfectly still, every eye already fixed on the door the party just opened. It has been waiting. It does not seem surprised.

Details

Supplied at 32mm scale. The plain base comes separately and attaches easily with a drop of superglue. Supports are removed before dispatch; as with all resin printing, minor marks may occasionally be present and are straightforward to clean up before priming. The miniature arrives fully cured and ready for paint.
