The Spanish Donkey is one of history's most notorious instruments of torment, and its presence on your battle map speaks volumes before a single dice is rolled. This finely detailed wooden prop — complete with a ridged triangular beam mounted on a sturdy base, braced with angled supports and iron bolt detailing — communicates everything a Dungeon Master needs it to: cruelty, power, and consequence. Whether it sits at the centre of an interrogation scene or lurks in the background of a villain's keep, it transforms any dungeon room into a place your players will remember.
The sculpt captures the rough-hewn grain of weathered timber across every surface, from the thick platform base to the wedge-shaped ridge above. The wood texture is rich with plank lines, knots, and iron bolt heads — the kind of detail that rewards painters and reads clearly even unpainted across the table.

Encounter Hook:
The party has been hired to extract a captured spy from the city watch's underground holding cells — but when they reach the interrogation level, they find the device already in use, and a guard captain who has no intention of letting witnesses leave.
Scaled to 32mm and suited to any TTRPG system. Available with or without a plain black base — the base comes unattached and can be fixed with a small amount of glue. Supports are removed before dispatch; as with all detailed resin work, minor marks are possible and easily tidied up. This is variation 01 of the Spanish Donkey range from Novaminis.
