Description

She arrived at the governor's banquet with a smile like honeyed venom and a gown stitched with the bones of rivals — by the time anyone thought to check their goblets, it was already too late.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

The Southern Queen Poison Bottle is a miniature that rewards close attention. Her sweeping, floor-length gown is lined from hem to belt with carved rib-bones, and skull charms hang from the chain at her waist — dark jewellery worn with aristocratic ease. A dramatic layered cape drapes off her shoulders and pools behind her, while a high feathered collar frames her upswept hair and composed, self-assured expression. In one raised hand she holds a serpent-topped staff or bottle stopper, the coiled form adding an extra flourish of menace to an already deeply threatening silhouette.

The sculpt carries enormous character — this is not a villain who rages, but one who plans. The calm confidence of her pose, the casual way the serpent prop sits in her grip, and the ostentatious detail of her macabre regalia all point to a figure who has never needed to raise her voice. She is the kind of BBEG who poisons the narrative from the inside, or the kind of NPC who hands the party their next quest with a smile they won't fully understand until session four.

The level of surface detail throughout — the texture of the feather collar, the individual chain links, the folds of the cape, the bone pattern running the length of the gown — makes this a genuinely rewarding miniature to paint, whether you're working towards a sinister court scheme at the table or building a display piece that draws the eye.

This listing includes two size variants: a no-base version and a pre-based version — choose the option that suits your basing style.

Well-suited for adventurers who:

  • Need a commanding, manipulative BBEG for an intrigue-heavy campaign
  • Want an NPC that reads as dangerous without a single visible weapon
  • Are building out a court of villains or a shadowy aristocratic faction
  • Enjoy painting elaborate, detail-rich character sculpts with clear focal points
  • Want a display-worthy piece that holds its own alongside larger showcase models

Encounter Hook

The party has been investigating a string of noble deaths across the city — all ruled natural causes, all suspiciously convenient for the same beneficiary. When they are invited to an exclusive soirée hosted by the Southern Queen herself, they arrive to find her greeting each guest personally, a carved serpent bottle held loosely in one gloved hand. She makes eye contact with the party's rogue across the room and raises a single eyebrow. She knows they know. She does not appear concerned.
