Sorrowsworn by Mia Kay M3DM
Description
It does not hunt for territory, nor for hunger — the Sorrowsworn simply follows grief, drawn to despair the way moths are drawn to a dying flame.
- ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
In D&D 5e lore, the Sorrowsworn are creatures born from the Shadowfell's darkest emotion — embodied misery given limbs, posture, and terrible purpose. This sculpt by Mia Kay M3DM captures that anguish with unsettling precision: a hunched, elongated figure, distended abdomen and spindly elongated limbs, leaning forward over its base with a downward gaze that speaks of something both predatory and pitiful. The textured rocky base grounds it on the battlefield whilst the creature's anatomy makes it immediately distinct from any ordinary humanoid threat.
Whether you're running a Shadowfell excursion, a cursed village encounter, or a dungeon steeped in old sorrow, this miniature gives your players something genuinely unnerving to face across the table. It works equally well as a display piece for collectors drawn to the darker corners of fantasy creature design.
Perfect for adventurers who:
- Run Shadowfell-based D&D 5e campaigns or one-shots
- Need a distinctive, lore-accurate monster miniature for encounter building
- Are building a Sorrowsworn encounter set with multiple creature types
- Collect and paint fantasy horror and aberrant creature sculpts
- Want a display piece that captures the melancholy horror of D&D's Shadowfell bestiary
Encounter Hook:
The village healer went missing three weeks after her son died in the war. The party finds her sitting in the ruins of her cottage, silent and unblinking — until the thing wearing her face slowly turns to look at them, too many joints bending in the wrong direction as it rises to its full, terrible height.
Scaled to 32mm. The model is supplied unpainted and ready for priming and painting, or can be used straight away as-is. Some minor clean-up may be needed as part of the natural printing process — any residual marks are easily tidied with standard hobby tools. Supplied attached to its sculpted base.
