This is the Wretched variant of the Sorrowsworn — a trio of small, grotesque creatures that swarm together in unsettling formation. Each sculpt is a compact mass of layered, wrinkled hide, oversized claws, and wide-splitting jaws crammed with jagged fangs. One rears back on two legs with its maw gaping skyward; another hunches forward in a charging lunge; the third stands braced and snarling. At 15mm tall, they're small in stature but enormous in menace — and on the tabletop, a cluster of three makes for a deeply unnerving encounter piece. Sculpted with the kind of grotesque anatomical detail that rewards painters who enjoy contrast work on skin folds, teeth, and claws, these are equally at home in a display cabinet as they are threatening a party in the Shadowfell.
In D&D 5e lore, the Wretched are the lowest caste of Sorrowsworn — frail alone, but terrifying in numbers, swarming anything they can reach and tearing at it with desperate ferocity. Drop three of these on the mat and watch your players reconsider their positioning immediately.
