Zahir the Guide is a figure of weathered authority and arcane weight. His long white beard fans out as though caught in a metaphysical wind, his robes heavily inscribed with arcane script, and a four-pointed holy amulet rests at his chest — the emblem of someone who has bargained with powers older than the kingdom he now serves. In one hand he clutches a thick, well-worn tome hung with prayer beads; the other arm is raised wide, fingers splayed, mid-incantation. This is not a man who casts in desperation — this is a man who has already seen how the spell ends.

From the Rescue in the King Fortress collection by Primal Collectibles, Zahir reads equally well as a venerable NPC sage, a morally complex court adviser, or a high-level Sorcerer or Wizard player character. The sculpt's detail is exceptional throughout — the layered folds of his robe, the individual pages of the open tome, and the candlestick bases on the thematic display plinth all reward close painting and display on a shelf as much as use across the gaming table.

Details

Printed at 32mm scale. The model and decorative base are supplied as separate pieces and can be fixed together with a small amount of glue — note that Zahir's sculpt is designed to interact with his base, so the two look best displayed together. Some minor imperfections from the printing process are possible; any residual marks are straightforward to clean up before priming.
