Sorcerer Mummy (Azkaron) by Primal Collectibles

Millennia beneath the sand could not silence him — Azkaron, the undying sorcerer-king, has clawed his way back to the waking world with ancient power crackling between his desiccated fingers.

• ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
• ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
• ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
• ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

Azkaron looms with the quiet authority of a ruler who has never truly accepted defeat. Arms outstretched and fingers splayed as though commanding the very air to obey, his skeletal face gazes from beneath an ornate pharaonic crown, jaw locked in a permanent, wordless proclamation. His layered robes — draped in deeply incised glyphs and fringe detailing — speak to a court that rotted away long before any living civilisation drew breath. This is not a shambling horror; this is an intellect that never stopped plotting.

The sculpt rewards painters willing to lean into contrast. The broad, engraved collar and robe panels offer crisp surfaces for object source lighting from the "conjured energy" hand, whilst the bone of his skull face sits beautifully between deep shadow recesses and pale raised highlights. The scenic base — cracked stone tiles and broken masonry — grounds him immediately in a desecrated throne room or excavated burial chamber.

Available in three base configurations at 32mm scale — with a decorative scenic base, a plain base, or no base for those who prefer their own basing scheme — and also in an impressive 75mm display scale for adventurers who want Azkaron as a true centrepiece. The multipart kit assembles cleanly and gives painters full access to all that robe and crown detail before committing to a base.

Particularly well-suited for adventurers who:

• Need a commanding undead BBEG for a desert-tomb or ancient-empire campaign arc
• Enjoy painting deeply textured robes, engraved jewellery, and exposed bone
• Want a mummy lord miniature that reads as a spellcaster rather than a brute
• Are building a 75mm display piece or diorama centred on undead royalty
• Play or DM settings inspired by ancient Egyptian or Mesopotamian aesthetics

Encounter Hook

The party has spent three sessions excavating the Tomb of the Brazen Crown — and now, as they crack open the final sarcophagus chamber, torchlight catches the glint of an empty stone coffin. From the archway behind them comes a slow, deliberate pair of footsteps. Azkaron has been awake since they entered. He was simply waiting to see whether they were worthy of his attention. Place this miniature at the head of the table and watch the room go very, very quiet.
