Description

He does not rule by decree — he rules by the primal roar that silences the wasteland and bends lesser wills like dry grass in a furnace wind.

  • ✔ Large-scale display bust — significantly bigger than standard 32mm
  • ✔ Resin printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted — ideal as a centrepiece painting project
  • ✔ Designed for display shelves and painting competitions

Pachacuti is the Sorcerer King of the Wasteland, and this bust captures him at the height of his terrible authority. Arms flung wide, mouth open in a battle cry or incantation, he wears a magnificent feathered headdress adorned with a jaguar-face crest — each feather individually sculpted and radiating outward like the sun itself fears him. Geometric breastplate armour, carved belt medallions, and studded bracers speak to a warrior culture steeped in ritual power, while the sheer physicality of his build makes clear that his sorcery is no substitute for strength — it is an addition to it.

The reverse of the sculpt is just as considered as the front: the full sweep of the feathered headdress fans dramatically outward, giving painters an extraordinary surface to work with — dry-brushing, layering, and contrast paints will all find purchase in the deep, crisp recesses of each individual frond. This is a centrepiece piece in every sense, as compelling from behind as it is face-to-face.

As a bust rather than a standard tabletop miniature, Pachacuti is scaled and designed to showcase expression, texture, and painting ambition. He is equally at home as the finished jewel of a display shelf or as a visual reference point for a DM building a ruthless, sun-god-worshipping warlord into their campaign.

Well suited to adventurers who:

  • Want a high-detail display piece that rewards an advanced painter
  • Are building a collection of bust sculpts with strong character identity
  • Need a powerful visual anchor for a desert-empire or wasteland campaign villain
  • Are looking for narrative inspiration for a sorcerer-king NPC, patron, or final boss
  • Simply want something genuinely striking on the shelf that sparks a conversation

Encounter Hook:
The party has spent three sessions tracking the warlord known only as the Feathered Sun. They find him at last on a sacrificial dais at the heart of a ruined city — arms raised, mid-ritual, the air crackling with primal magic and the screams of bound cultists. He doesn't flinch when he sees them. He smiles.
