Description

Where the overgrown roots coil and the thorn-flame reaches skyward, Madame Steamwhisper waits — patient, predatory, and utterly indifferent to the century that has passed since anyone last dared to enter her grove.

  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

Snaresteep Madame Steamwhisper is a creature of baroque menace: a thorned plant-form erupting from a tangled mass of curling roots and barbed leaves, her silhouette crowned by writhing flame-like tendrils that stretch upward like grasping fingers. The sculpt captures something between a carnivorous botanical and a bound elemental — decorative filigree scrollwork curls across her lower leaves, betraying some forgotten artisan's hand in her creation, while jagged spines bristle along every edge. In one pose she clutches a smooth, seed-like core at her centre; in the other, she is fully open, her thorned fronds splayed wide as if mid-bloom or mid-strike. Both variants share that same sense of coiled, living threat.

Whether you're running her as a plant creature, a construct guardian, a Ravenloft-style botanical horror, or a unique boss encounter lurking in an overgrown estate, Madame Steamwhisper brings immediate narrative weight to your table. She's equally at home on a display shelf where her layered sculptural detail rewards close attention from collectors and painters alike.

Perfect for adventurers who:

  • Need a memorable plant monster or botanical horror for a TTRPG encounter
  • Are building a Ravenloft, fey forest, or corrupted greenhouse adventure
  • Want a standout display piece with intricate organic and decorative detail
  • Are looking for a boss-tier creature that doesn't look like anything else on the table

Encounter Hook:
The players were hired to retrieve a specific seed from the abandoned estate's glasshouse — but the glasshouse has not been abandoned. Something rooted itself here decades ago, grew patient and thorned and clever, and it has been cultivating the estate's remaining wards ever since. The moment the party steps through the shattered glass doors, the filigree-scrolled fronds begin, very slowly, to open.

This miniature is printed at 35mm scale. If you'd prefer 32mm scaling, send us a message and we'll be happy to adjust. A decorative base option is available — if selected, please include a note with your preferred base style from the three options. The base (decorative or plain black) is supplied separately and attaches easily. Supports are removed before dispatch; as with all resin printing, minor marks are occasionally possible and are easily tidied up.
