Description

It rises from the cracked stone floor of the tomb, scales whispering against ancient tiles, fangs bared and patient — as if it has been waiting centuries for something foolish enough to enter.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

This cobra-posed snake miniature from Mia Kay M3DM captures a giant serpent mid-strike posture: coiled body resting across a textured flagstone base, the upper body rearing high with mouth agape and fangs extended. The sculpt balances two distinct surface textures beautifully — the smooth, ribbed underside of the raised torso contrasts with the heavily scaled coils below, giving painters a rewarding range of detail to work with.

In D&D 5e terms, giant snakes serve as CR 1/4 beasts that can restrain and poison adventurers — deceptively dangerous in confined corridors or desert ruins. This sculpt would work equally well as a yuan-ti familiar, a druid's serpentine companion, an arcane guardian coiled around a treasure hoard, or simply an environmental hazard your party will deeply regret ignoring.

Perfect for adventurers who:

  • Run desert tombs, jungle ruins, or underground encounter tables
  • Need a convincing yuan-ti or serpent cult centrepiece
  • Want a beast companion or druid wild shape token with genuine presence
  • Are building a display diorama or painting challenge piece

Encounter Hook:
The party has been tasked with recovering a stolen amulet from the vault beneath the Temple of the Coiled God. The door is open, the vault is in sight — but coiled atop the sealed chest, utterly motionless, is something that has not eaten in three months and is very much awake.

Details

Supplied at 32mm scale and ready for priming and painting straight out of the box. The miniature comes attached to its integrated flagstone base as a single piece. Supports are removed prior to dispatch, though minor surface marks from the print process may occasionally occur — these are easily tidied up before painting.
