Small Rock Tower by Mia Kay M3DM
Description
Three smooth stones, balanced with quiet intention — a waymarker left by a wanderer, a druid's ritual cairn, or simply the last thing a ranger saw before the ambush began.
- ✔ Resin terrain piece, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted — primes and paints easily
- ✔ Compatible with standard 28mm–32mm miniature scales
- ✔ Works on the gaming table and as part of a display diorama
This small rock tower is the kind of scatter terrain that earns its place on the table again and again. Stacked from three rounded, naturally veined stones, it reads instantly as something placed with purpose — a boundary marker on an ancient road, a druidic signpost deep in the forest, or a lonely cairn on a windswept hillside. Simple in form, but rich with implied story.
At 32mm scale it sits comfortably alongside character miniatures and larger terrain pieces alike, adding depth and visual interest to wilderness encounters, dungeon entrances, graveyard edges, or outdoor dioramas. Whether you're dressing a battle map or building a display scene, this little cairn does more narrative work than its size suggests.
Brilliant for adventurers who:
- Want low-profile scatter terrain to break up flat battle maps
- Are building wilderness, forest, or druidic encounter scenes
- Need quick cover or line-of-sight blocking for grid-based play
- Enjoy painting natural stone textures — the layered veining takes washes beautifully
- Are assembling display dioramas or world-building vignettes
Encounter Hook:
The party has been following a trail of stacked stone cairns through the Whispering Wood for two days. The markers have guided them safely — until today, when they find a cairn toppled and scattered, a single bloodied handprint on the largest stone. Whatever made these markers is still out there.
