This is Slime 03 from Galaad Miniatures, and it is unlike any ooze you have placed on the table before. Where most gelatinous horrors are featureless and slow, this one is wrong in a deeply unsettling way — a skull-like face stretches open in a silent shriek, hollow eye sockets staring outward from a body that flows and bubbles at the base. Bone spurs erupt from its mass like vestigial ribs, and a lattice of fused skeletal arches fans behind it like a grotesque wing or a broken cage. Whatever creature this ooze has consumed, it has retained the worst of it.
Whether you are running a dungeon delve through a necromancer's abandoned laboratory or placing an aberrant horror in the deep places beneath a cursed city, this sculpt brings genuine dread to the encounter. The detail in the open maw — rows of teeth visible within a second interior cavity — rewards close painting as much as it rewards the horrified faces of your players. The miniature and its base are separate pieces, designed to be attached with superglue — note that the sculpt and base interact closely, so the decorative base is very much part of the finished piece.
