The Slaver Tent 01 is a piece of scatter terrain that brings immediate menace to any encounter. The canvas walls are stitched and draped with rope cordage, the tent posts are topped with skulls, and a bull-horned skull looms above the entrance like a warlord's sigil. A hanging cage lantern casts the entrance in grim shadow, while a scattering of wooden crates — one broken open — and a barrel complete the scene. This is not a merchant's stall or a traveller's shelter; every detail signals threat and illicit commerce.
As a modular scatter piece, it works beautifully to anchor a bandit encampment, a roadside ambush, or a slaver caravan encounter. The raised platform base and surrounding props make it just as compelling on a display shelf as it is on the gaming table.
Suited to adventurers who:
- Are building a bandit camp, slaver caravan, or desert road encounter
- Need a focal point for a hostage rescue or infiltration scenario
- Want atmospheric scatter terrain that doubles as a narrative set piece
- Enjoy painting and basing terrain for display dioramas or tabletop collections
Encounter Hook:
The party has been tracking the missing villagers for three days. At dusk they crest a ridge and spot a camp below — four tents in a loose circle, but one larger than the rest, its entrance framed by skulls and rope. The sounds coming from inside are not the sounds of sleeping. The Dungeon Master places the Slaver Tent 01 on the mat. Everyone at the table leans forward.
Scaled to 32mm. If you require a different scale, please get in touch. Available with or without a plain black base — the base ships unattached and can be fixed with a small amount of glue. As with all hand-finished pieces, minor surface marks are possible; these are easily addressed before painting. The piece is fully cured and ready for priming.
