Description

It came through the planar rift not with thunder, but with a wet, satisfied croak — and the party realised too late that the Slaad had already laid its eggs.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

Slaadi are among the most unsettling creatures in the D&D multiverse — not demons from the Abyss, but alien aberrations from Limbo, driven by pure entropic hunger. This sculpt by La Louve 3D captures that lurching, predatory energy with real menace: the creature crouches low on digitigrade legs, arms spread wide as if mid-charge, its warty hide bristling with bony protrusions and its wide maw packed with overlapping fangs and curved tusks. The four short horns crowning its head and its heavy, forward-leaning silhouette make it immediately recognisable as a creature that doesn't negotiate — it infects.

Whether you're running a Far Realm incursion, a planar chaos storyline, or simply want a memorable boss monster that will make your players genuinely uncomfortable, this Slaad miniature carries real table presence. It suits both active gameplay encounters and display shelves for collectors who appreciate a well-sculpted horror.

Suited to adventurers who:

  • Need a Slaad for D&D 5e or other TTRPG encounters
  • Are running planar, Far Realm, or chaos-themed campaign arcs
  • Want a characterful boss monster with strong visual impact on the table
  • Collect and paint fantasy creature miniatures for display

Encounter Hook:
The merchant who hired the party to find his missing guards is acting strangely — sweating, feverish, pressing a hand to his ribs when he thinks no one is watching. The guards were found, eventually, but what hatched from them followed the party back to town. The Slaad is already here. It has been here for days.

Details

Printed at 32mm scale. The model and base are supplied as separate pieces and can be attached with a small amount of glue — the decorative base is well worth including, as the sculpt is designed to interact with it. Minor print artefacts are possible and can be cleaned up easily before priming.
