The Skull Shrine is a centrepiece of dread — a broad, bark-cracked totem rising from a carpet of scattered skulls, its two branch-like arms hung with heavy iron chains from which more skulls dangle like grotesque offerings. Rusted spikes jut from the crown, and across its gnarled surface, faces peer out from within the wood itself, half-swallowed and silent. This is not a gravestone. It is a declaration.
Whether planted in the heart of a necromancer's ritual circle, marking the boundary of an orc warlord's territory, or standing alone in a cursed forest clearing, this piece carries its own dark story. The detail across every surface — embedded skulls, wrapped chains, bark texture, scattered bones at the base — gives Dungeon Masters a terrain piece that does real narrative work at the table. Equally arresting as a display piece for a shelf or diorama.
