Description

When the wolf-skull mask appears at the treeline, the village knows the old pacts have been broken — Skjolnir Ulvar does not ride to parley.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

Skjolnir Ulvar cuts an unmistakable silhouette — broad-shouldered and battle-ready, draped in layered fur and scale armour, with a wolf skull worn as a helm that leaves no doubt about the nature of this warrior's totem. One hand grips a bone-handled mace with casual menace; the other holds a round wooden shield emblazoned with knotwork ironwork, slung at his side like an afterthought. Across his back rises an enormous runic axe, its blade carved with interlocking Norse knotwork — a weapon that looks less like it was forged and more like it was unearthed from a burial mound and reclaimed by someone who felt it belonged to them.

The sculpt's detail rewards a careful painter. The fur cloak flows heavily over scale pauldrons, and the wrapped leather bindings at his shins and boots give the figure a grounded, tactile weight. His stance is coiled — not charging, but ready, the weight shifted forward in the way of someone who has already decided to close the distance. The decorative base features scattered bones and wild scrub, evoking a frost-bitten highland or a clearing at the edge of wolf territory.

This is a multipart sculpt with a decorative scenic base included, and is available in both supported and unsupported variants to suit your printing preferences — though here at Mitz & Simz we handle all of that so you receive the finished miniature, ready to clean and prime.

A worthy choice for adventurers who:

  • Are playing or running a Norse-flavoured campaign and need a warrior who looks the part
  • Want a barbarian PC miniature that reads immediately as totem-touched and dangerous
  • Are building a display piece around a viking or wolf-cult aesthetic
  • Need a formidable human or tribesman NPC — a chieftain, warchief, or rival
  • Simply appreciate a sculpt where every surface rewards a brush

Encounter Hook

The party has been hired to negotiate a border dispute between two highland clans. They arrive at the meeting site to find both clan elders dead — and Skjolnir Ulvar standing over the bodies, axe across his shoulders, utterly calm. He does not explain himself. He simply asks which of them is the strongest.
