The Skeljungur is drawn from Icelandic mythological tradition and reimagined here as a creature of extraordinary presence. Its body is encrusted with layered shell-plates, jagged barnacle growths, and deep ridge-lines that speak to centuries spent in the darkest ocean trenches. This is no gentle sea creature — it is a living fortress, a colossus of the deep that could capsize ships or simply ignore them entirely.
