Description
The burial mound had been sealed for three centuries — until the necromancer broke the wards, and the dead soldier inside remembered exactly what it was built to do.
- ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
This is no shambling, mindless undead — this is a skeleton warrior that has clearly never stopped fighting. Clad in battered plate armour and a visored helmet, this risen soldier strides forward with grim momentum, a long sword levelled low and a battered round shield raised. The tattered remnants of a cloak billow behind its exposed ribcage, and every bone visible between the armour plates speaks to a long-dead soldier who simply refuses to lie down. The sculpt captures a figure mid-advance, jaw locked in that permanent skeletal grin, entirely unbothered by the skulls and shattered headstones it is striding over.
The integrated scenic base is a graveyard battlefield unto itself — cracked tombstones, scattered skulls, tangled roots and broken bones all pressed into the earth beneath this warrior's feet. It is a base that does the storytelling before the miniature has even been painted, and rewards careful brushwork at every level of the composition.
Available in both 32mm gaming scale and a 75mm display variant, this sculpt offers real flexibility — whether you need it on the encounter grid or as a centrepiece painting project. Both supported and unsupported files were produced by Atlanticus Arts, and a decorative base and plain base option are both included.
- Adventurers building undead encounter groups for Curse of Strahd or Tomb of Annihilation
- Dungeon Masters who want a skeleton that reads as a genuine threat, not a fodder mob
- Painters who want a sculpt with crisp armour detail, visible bone texture, and a rich scenic base to work into
- Collectors seeking a display-worthy undead piece at 75mm scale
Encounter Hook: The party enters what they believe is an abandoned barrow only to find a single skeleton standing motionless at the inner door — sword point resting on the floor, shield arm raised. As the cleric steps forward, the jaw drops open and the grinding sound of ancient armour fills the silence as the soldier takes its first step in three hundred years.
