Description

The old wars never truly ended — the fallen simply kept fighting, long after the flags had rotted and the names of kings were forgotten.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

This Skeleton Soldier from Primal Collectibles' Rise of the Death Lord range is far removed from the shambling, mindless undead of lesser horrors. Clad in chainmail coif and a battered iron helm, this warrior carries a long spear levelled with grim purpose and a round shield bristling with arrow shafts — evidence of a battle it simply refused to lose. The tattered remnants of a surcoat hang from its bones, and the grinning skull beneath the helmet shows no fear, because fear is a luxury reserved for the living. It strides across a graveyard base strewn with broken headstones, shattered grave markers, and the cold earth of a battlefield that never healed. The sculpt is available in multiple poses — each one distinct in stance and energy — so you can field a genuine undead warband with real visual variety.

Whether you're statting it as a standard Skeleton, a Minotaur Skeleton for extra menace, or a named undead champion raised by a Death Lord, this miniature carries the weight of something that was once a soldier and hasn't forgotten it. Equally compelling as a display piece, where careful brushwork on the chainmail links, weathered shield face, and graveyard scenery will reward any painter with serious shelf presence.

Perfect for adventurers who:

  • Need undead soldiers with genuine character for graveyard or battlefield encounters
  • Are building a necromancer's army or Death Lord warband for a campaign arc
  • Want a centrepiece skeleton that doubles as a striking display miniature
  • Enjoy detailed scenic bases that tell a story beyond the tabletop grid
  • Are painting undead for a Ravenloft, Curse of Strahd, or homebrew undead campaign

Encounter Hook:
The party follows fresh tracks across a frost-hardened graveyard toward the crypt entrance — only to hear the crack of splintering stone behind them as a helmed skeleton hauls itself upright from the grave they stepped over, arrow-stuck shield rising, spear levelling, its jaw stretched wide in a silent war cry from a battle fought three hundred years ago.
