Description
The ancient warrior never knelt in life — and death has done nothing to change that.
- ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
This skeleton samurai stands in a wide, defiant stance, fully clad in layered lamellar armour — shoulder guards, chest plate, bracers, greaves and all — with a horned kabuto helmet crowning a grinning, hollow-eyed skull. Its jaw is open in a silent battle cry, long hair still trailing behind the helm, and a curved katana is held low in one hand, ready to sweep upward in a single deadly arc. Every rivet and cord-wrap on the armour is crisply sculpted, making this a genuinely characterful piece whether you're dropping it onto a battle map or displaying it on a shelf.
For Dungeon Masters running campaigns with an Eastern fantasy flavour — think Ravenloft's darker corners, a cursed imperial tomb, or a ghost-haunted mountain fortress — this miniature carries real narrative weight. It reads immediately as something more than a standard undead grunt: this was once a warrior of rank and discipline, and whatever necromantic force or oath binds it to the mortal world, it has lost none of its martial bearing.
Perfect for adventurers who:
- Run Eastern-inspired D&D 5e campaigns or one-shots
- Need a formidable undead NPC or boss encounter on the table
- Are building a themed undead warband or display collection
- Want a painting project with exceptional armour and bone detail
- Play or DM settings like Ravenloft, Kamigawa-adjacent homebrew, or ghost-haunted dojos
Encounter Hook:
The players have journeyed three days into the mountains to reach the Tomb of the Iron Oath — a mausoleum built for a general who swore to defend his lord's bloodline beyond death. As they cross the threshold, a single lantern flickers to life at the far end of the hall. The skeleton samurai standing beneath it does not charge. It simply draws its katana, lowers its stance, and waits. It will not move until one of them does.
Supplied as a single piece attached to a round base, scaled to 32mm. Ready for priming and painting straight out of the box, or use it unpainted — the sculpt holds up either way. Some minor clean-up of support marks may occasionally be needed, though we inspect every miniature before dispatch.
