This is no shambling pile of bones. The Skeleton Overlord stands with the bearing of a warlord — broad-shouldered and imposing, clad in elaborate full-plate armour engraved with swirling filigree and dark iconography. A dramatic floor-length cape sweeps behind it, and atop its grinning skull sits a crown of jagged bone spires, lending it an unmistakably regal and dangerous air. In one gauntleted hand it raises an ornately serrated blade, every inch of it carved with decorative detail. The hollowed eye sockets carry a presence that paint will only deepen — this is a miniature that rewards careful brushwork.
Every surface of the sculpt offers something for the painter: the deep relief of the armour's scrollwork, the smooth pull of the cape, the articulated gauntlets, and the textured crown of bone.
