Description
It does not rule from a throne — it rises from the ossuary itself, a writhing amalgamation of fused bones and screaming skulls, older than any kingdom that once bowed to it.
- ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
This is no mere animated skeleton shambling through a crypt. The Skeleton King by Mia Kay M3DM is a grotesque and commanding undead entity — a towering figure of fused skeletal remains, its torso a cathedral of ribs and vertebrae, its head crowned with the crushed and absorbed skulls of fallen servants. Multiple grasping arms reach outward in every direction, and its base is a mound of defeated skulls underfoot. This is a creature that has consumed armies, not led them. On the tabletop, it commands the room.
The sculpt captures a genuinely unsettling sense of wrongness — this thing moves, it reaches, it screams — and the detail in the interlocked bone structures rewards careful painting with washes, drybrushing, and spot colour on the hollow eye sockets. Equally compelling displayed unpainted, the natural form of the sculpt tells its own story. Whether you're statting it up as a Lich, a cursed Skeleton Champion, or something entirely homebrew, this miniature earns its place at the centre of your encounter.
Perfect for adventurers who:
- Need a centrepiece undead boss for a necromancer's lair or cursed tomb
- Want a miniature that doubles as a display piece between sessions
- Are building a Ravenloft or undead-themed campaign and need something genuinely unsettling
- Enjoy detailed painting projects with complex bone-on-bone texture work
Encounter Hook:
The party descends into the Vault of Shattered Kings, seeking the phylactery rumoured to rest at its heart. They find it — held aloft in a cage of fused finger bones, cradled by something that was once seventeen different warlords. It turns slowly. It has been waiting for someone worthy enough to witness its collection.
