Mia Kay's Skeleton Gunslinger is a remarkable sculpt that sits at the crossroads of the undead and the Weird West. The figure strides forward in a wide-lapelled suit jacket and flared trousers, topped with a banded top hat that tilts with just the right amount of menace. What sets this piece apart from any ordinary skeleton is the mechanical detail throughout — the arms are articulated constructs of bolts, pistons, and gear-studded joints, hinting at a figure that was perhaps rebuilt, reanimated, or simply refused to stay dead in any conventional sense. The exposed skull face carries that blank, eyeless confidence only the long-dead can manage.
Whether you're running a Ravenloft campaign with a deathly duellist for hire, a Weird West one-shot where the undead still settle scores at high noon, or simply want an NPC that your players will absolutely remember, this sculpt brings genuine character to the table. It works equally well as a painted display piece — the mechanical arms alone reward careful brushwork with washes and metallic highlights.
Perfect for adventurers who:
- Run Weird West, Ravenloft, or gothic horror TTRPG campaigns
- Need a memorable undead NPC, bounty hunter, or rival gunslinger
- Want a display miniature with real sculptural depth and detail
- Are building an undead or construct-themed warband or encounter
Encounter Hook:
The wanted poster pinned to the tavern door shows a face the party recognises — one of their own, sketched in charcoal with hollow eyes. Before they can react, the door swings open and a figure in a battered top hat steps through, mechanical fingers flexing at its sides. It doesn't speak. It never does anymore. It just points.
Details
Supplied at 32mm scale. The scenic base is included and arrives detached for ease of painting — simply attach with a small amount of glue. Print quality is high-detail resin; support marks are removed as standard, though minor traces may occasionally remain and are easily tidied up before priming.
