Description

It doesn't feel fear, it doesn't feel pain — it just raises its shield, hefts its mace, and marches forward, as it has done for a hundred years.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

This armoured skeleton soldier captures everything that makes undead warriors genuinely threatening on the tabletop. Clad in a fitted breastplate with quilted tassets and articulated limb guards, it cuts the silhouette of a long-dead soldier who has simply refused to stop fighting. The spiked mace — each spike rendered with crisp, aggressive geometry — is held at a low, ready swing, while the kite shield is braced across the opposite arm, its raised panel detailing suggesting a once-noble heraldic design long since stripped of meaning.

The pose itself is confident without being static. The skeleton is caught mid-advance: weight slightly forward, mace trailing back and ready to arc upward. It's the stance of a creature that doesn't rush because it has no concept of urgency — it simply closes in, methodical and relentless. The exposed skull, jaw set and hollow sockets forward, adds that distinctive undead quality that makes these miniatures so effective when ranked up across a battlefield.

Whether you're populating a forgotten crypt, running a necromancer's honour guard, or building out the rank-and-file of a death knight's army, this miniature earns its place at the table. The level of armour detail also makes it a rewarding painting project — the flat planes of the breastplate take washes beautifully, while the chainmail skirt and shield panels reward careful layering.

Well-suited for adventurers who:

  • Need a credible frontline soldier for their undead encounters
  • Are building Ravenloft or graveyard-themed encounter groups
  • Want a skeleton with genuine armour complexity rather than bare bones
  • Enjoy painting armour, bone, and aged metal in a single miniature
  • Are adding variety to an existing skeleton warband

Encounter Hook: The party follows a trail of fresh footprints into a flooded barrow mound — and finds them leading out of the sarcophagi. A row of armoured figures stands motionless in the torchlight, shields raised, maces at their sides. They don't attack. They're waiting. Someone, somewhere, gave an order — and the party has exactly one round to figure out who before those orders change.
