Description

The crypt doors burst open and the hammerblow that follows shakes dust from the ceiling — this skeleton was a soldier in life, and death has only sharpened its discipline.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

This armoured skeleton carries the bearing of a veteran warrior — plate armour etched with skull motifs, a horned helm, and a massive two-handed maul raised mid-swing. The pose is dynamic and full of forward momentum: one leg lifted mid-stride, the hammer arcing overhead with genuine menace. Every detail on this sculpt earns its place, from the articulated finger bones gripping the haft to the diamond-quilted tassets at its waist and the layered pauldrons across its shoulders.

As a painting project, this miniature offers tremendous variety. Bone tones on exposed skeletal hands and feet contrast sharply with darkened or rusted armour plate, while the skull decoration on the breastplate begs for a spot colour — perhaps a deep red or sickly green — to make it pop. The horned helm frames what little remains of a face, lending the figure an almost chieftain-like authority among lesser undead.

Whether fielded as a elite skeletal guardian, the veteran of a long-dead army still bound by a necromancer's will, or the hammer-wielding enforcer of a lich's crypt, this miniature brings weight and character to any undead warband. It's equally compelling as a centrepiece on the display shelf, with enough sculptural detail to reward careful painting at every layer.

  • Adventurers building a disciplined undead warband who want a front-line bruiser with real presence
  • Dungeon Masters staging encounters in crypts, barrows, or the ruins of a fallen kingdom
  • Painters who want a generous canvas — armour, bone, and decorative detail all in one sculpt
  • Collectors who appreciate character-driven undead miniatures that go beyond the basic shambling skeleton

Encounter Hook: The party descends into the vaults beneath the Ironhollow Keep, following rumours of a stolen relic. At the threshold of the inner sanctum, a single armoured skeleton stands guard — perfectly still, hammer resting against the stone floor. As the first adventurer crosses the ward line, the maul swings upward in one fluid motion, and the empty sockets of its horned helm lock onto them with unmistakable intent.
