The Sire of Sanity is one of those monsters that makes players lean forward in their seats. Towering, muscle-bound, and crowned with curving horns, this abyssal fiend carries itself with the terrible confidence of a creature that has never lost a fight. Its face is a nightmare of torn flesh and exposed teeth — not a wound, but a permanent expression. A spiked collar and heavy chain hang across its chest like a parody of adornment, and a thick, whip-like tail coils at its feet, ready to sweep legs out from under anyone foolish enough to close the distance. This is a demon that doesn't rage — it stalks.
Sculpted with extraordinary anatomical detail across every ripple of muscle and fold of leathery skin, the Sire of Sanity reads as a genuine threat on the tabletop. The hunched, forward-leaning stance — both arms spread wide, claws flexed — communicates aggression without needing a weapon. It doesn't need one. At 32mm scale, it cuts an imposing silhouette that will hold its own as a campaign centrepiece or display piece on your shelf.
Perfect for adventurers who:
- Need a compelling BBEG or mid-campaign boss that doesn't look like every other demon on the table
- Are building abyssal cults, corrupted planar rifts, or demonology-heavy narrative arcs
- Want a showpiece miniature that rewards careful painting — the skin texture and chain detail are genuinely worth the time
- Collect and display miniatures from independent artists alongside their gaming collection
Encounter Hook:
The party finds the summoner's chamber empty — circle chalked on the floor, candles still burning. The notes describe a binding ritual that should have held. On the last page, in a different hand: "It agreed to the terms. That was when I knew something was wrong." The door behind them opens.
Details
Supplied at 32mm scale. The figure and its decorative base are separate pieces and attach with a small amount of superglue — the sculpt is designed to interact with its base, so we'd recommend using it. Printed at high resolution with fine surface detail throughout; supports are removed before dispatch, and each piece is inspected before it leaves us.
