Sir Cheeselot by Great Grimoire

They said the thief was small enough to slip through a keyhole — nobody mentioned he'd be wearing a cloak and carrying something that smelled faintly of aged Gouda.

Sir Cheeselot is a delightfully characterful mousefolk NPC from The Snowbound Mysteries collection by Great Grimoire. Sculpted in a low, furtive crouch, this wide-eared, bright-eyed little rogue clutches a bulging drawstring sack with both paws — the unmistakable body language of someone who has definitely just acquired something that didn't belong to them. A flowing cloak trails behind him, and every detail from his whiskered snout to his splayed, clawed feet radiates scheming charm. Whether he's a guild fence, a reluctant informant, or the most unexpectedly dangerous quarry your players have ever underestimated, Sir Cheeselot brings instant personality to any scene.
Part of the wintry, mystery-soaked Snowbound Mysteries setting, this sculpt lends itself equally well to festive one-shots, cosy tavern intrigue, and heist-adjacent capers in snow-dusted market towns. At 32mm scale he sits naturally alongside standard D&D and TTRPG miniatures, and his wealth of surface detail makes him a genuine joy to paint — or to field straight from the box for your next session.
Perfect for adventurers who:
- Need a memorable mousefolk NPC for D&D 5e or other TTRPG campaigns
- Are running a mystery, heist, or winter-themed adventure
- Collect anthropomorphic animal folk miniatures for display or the tabletop
- Want a characterful small humanoid with genuine narrative presence
- Enjoy painting expressive, detail-rich sculpts
Encounter Hook:
The players spot a small cloaked figure darting between market stalls in the snow-covered town square, a suspiciously lumpy sack bouncing at his side. The temple bell has just begun to toll — and the Merchant's Guildmaster has sent word that the Winter Seal, a relic of enormous political importance, has gone missing from the locked strongroom. Sir Cheeselot glances back once, meets the party's gaze, and runs.
