This siege catapult is a battlefield centrepiece sculpted with the kind of detail that rewards a careful painter. The frame is built from thick, banded timber with crisp wood-grain texture running the full length of every beam. Iron bolts and riveted metal brackets reinforce the joints, and four spiked wooden wheels — bound with studded iron rims — give the whole machine a brutal, road-ready weight. A coiled rope sling hangs from the throwing arm, tightly wound and full of tension.
